“I am deeply inspired by the visual images that I surround myself with in daily life. I am a passionate visual arts advocate, and I find myself being drawn to creating movement and staging that takes on the astounding kinetic life of some of my favorite paintings, the swirl of a brush. I also find so much glee in watching the abandonment and freedom of classic musical movie stars such as Gene Kelly, Vera Ellen, and Cyd Charisse.
